Vanessa Cen is a Vice President and Senior Client Partner for Korn Ferry Hay Group based in the firm’s Shanghai office. She is an expert in leadership assessment and development, and has led many successful assessment and development programs.Ms. Cen has worked with clients in life science, manufacturing, real estate, fast moving consumer goods, retail industries, and also some conglomerate organizations. She is expert in leveraging the combination of various psychometric and assessment tools with deep and professional insight to help organizations and individuals succeed.Ms. Cen has worked as leadership and talent practice leader of Hay Group China for a couple of years, providing technical expertise/ advices and internal capability building to support various services lines.
Ms. Cen has worked more than 10 years in the management consulting field. Prior to that, she has also worked as a generalist in corporate human resources management, and in companies with various natures in different locations, such as foreign-invested company and private-sector company in China, and also public-listed company located in Singapore and Hong Kong. Ms. Cen’s focus area is leadership assessment, development and talent management. She has extensive experiences in designing and delivering assessment and leadership development programs for both local and multinational organizations. She is also accredited with various assessment and leadership-related methodologies and proprietary tools of the firm.
Ms. Cen has an masters of business administration from National University of Singapore and a bachelor degree in German language and literature from Shanghai.Besides firm’s accreditations, Ms. Cen also has Hogan Assessment certification and Design Thinker trainer certification. She is fluent in Chinese and English.
