As China's first higher education institution to establish the educational system of Business Administration, the century-old Fudan University launched its business discipline as early as in 1917, and later set up the School of Business in 1929. After the rapid development during the past three decades, the School now consists of 8 departments and 24 cross-disciplinary research institutes. The School also provides professional master’s degree programs including MBA/EMBA, Master of Professional Accountants (MPAcc) programs, Master in Finance programs and Master of International Business programs, and professional PhD degree programs including Doctor of Business Administration Program (DBA). In 2014, FDSM had 4 programs ranked in the Top 100 Global EMBA Programs by Financial Times. FDSM is also the only Asian business school to have 4 out of 100 top EMBA programs ranked in the FT EMBA list. In 2015, FDSM’s MBA program also ranked high on FT global top 100 MBA programs for three consecutive years and ranked first among all the mainland business schools attached to university.
