Browning Wong, Associate HR Director, Yum! Brands China
Browning is a well-seasoned HR professional whose experiences are consisted of both HR Business Partner/HR Generalist and HR Talent Acquisition CoE Team Leader roles. Before she transitioned into her HR career, Browning is coming from a diversified cross-industry and cross-function background including in Sales with Procter & Gamble (P&G), as Manager & Industry Research/Financial Analyst with a world's leading bank, and additional experience as e-Commerce Project Manager and with the Greater China President Office.
Browning is currently Associate HR Director at Yum! Brands. Before Yum!, Browning worked in BP China as HR Business Partner for Air BP Asia and Corporate Functions China, as well as BP China Recruitment Team Leader. Before BP, she was a Consultant at Korn/Ferry International Group Shanghai Office and MRI Group Shanghai Office. Looking back in her earlier career, Browning also gained valuable consumer product industry commercial experience with P&G. Browning is well recognized as a very effective ambassador for her serving company and won external Employer Branding awards such as CEIBS Best Campus Recruitment Award. Earlier this year at BP, Browning also led the Air BP Global Employer Value Proposition (EVP) project. With her diversified work experience and because of her personality and good learning agility, Browning earns the credibility and reputation as an unique and well-recognized HR Trusted Advisor who understands business needs and is able to bring value-added people solutions to the business. As a British Chevening Scholar, Browning graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) with a Master of Science (MSc.) degree in Analysis, Design and Management of Information Systems. She also obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree majoring in Marketing from the University of Hong Kong. Moreover, Browning had additional study experience at Princeton University (New Jersey, U.S.) and at Sophia University (Tokyo, Japan).
