David Mitchell Towers Watson Asia Pacific HR Technology and Service DeliveryPractice Leader
As Asia Pacific leader for the firm’s HR technology and service delivery practice, David oversees a fast growing team of professionals that advise some of the largest companies in the region on how to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of their HR operations, with a focus on HR transformation and globalization. Prior to joining Towers Watson, David was Greater China General Manager and Asia Pacific leader of one of the largest global HR technology vendors, as well as Japan leader of a boutique HR consulting firm.
A well-recognized thought leader on the topic of HR operational practices in the Asia Pacific region, David frequently speaks and writes on how multinational and local employers can act to reduce labor costs, increase employee productivity, and ensure compliance. He is a co-chairperson of the HR Forum of the US Chamber of Commerce in China and co-author of the Human Resources chapter of AmCham’s annual white paper for the Chinese government. David’s commentary on labor issues has appeared in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, and numerous trade publications in China and Japan.
A native of the United States, David has lived and worked in Asia since 1996. |
