In selecting coaches, we look at a range of essentials and qualifications including coaching certification. However the #1 must is character. This is not only determined by the nature of the executive coaching profession, but by our values. One can boast brilliant past experience, but that won’t make him/her automatically a good coach. One has to have the humility and client focus to be good.
