Dr. Tong Chen, MDChief Health Officer, Integrated Health Services, IBM Greater China, HR
Dr. Tong Chen is currently a consultant occupational physician and IHS manager for IBM Greater China Groups. He joined IBM in 2006. Over the last 6 years, he has involved in the design, development, delivery, consultation and case management on health, well-being, medical, safety and health benefits. He was the major contributors for the country pioneering initiatives such as hepatitis B programs, health benefits coverage for mental disorders, HIV/AIDS, Blue Care, etc. among many other programs/projects. Dr Chen received his Bachelor degree in Medicine from Shanghai Medical University (now Fudan University, School of Medicine). After graduation, he worked as a physician in Shanghai First People's Hospital. He went to Finland in 1995 and received Doctor Degree in Medical Science in 2002. He worked in Helsinki University Central Hospital during 2002-2006. He published over 10 papers in peer review international medical journals. He is now the co-chair of GBGH-China group. He is also the executive member of China Occupational Health Organization (industrial group) and China Multinational Medical Council.
