Kang Ping, HR Director Greater China & South Asia, Dow Corning
Ms. Ping Kang assumes Human Resources Director role for Dow Corning Greater China since June, 2009. Prior to that, Ping spent five years in Texas Instruments (TI), later Sensata Technologies (ST), a company spun off from TI and Henkel. She has assumed various roles such as HR managers for manufacturing sites, HR directors for business Group, China and Asia HR director etc. In her 20 years of Human Resources Management, Ping has participated full life cycle of different companies ranging from FMCG, High Tech to Chemicals. She clearly understands HR challenges in different stage of company and the nature of HR roles in various industries. While as most of the time working as HR generalist, Ping demonstrated fair mastery of full HR spectrum. And she is particularly strong at creating and driving Human Resources Strategy which well aligned with business direction. Working under global context, Ping is very passionate with aligning global resources to building and developing high performing organizations, activating employee engagement program, attract and retain high caliber talents etc. Ping holds a Master Degree of Business Administration from CEIBS. She is a certified leadership coach.
