Zany ZENG Weibo Company Director
Graduated from Tsinghua University in 1999, majored in Computer Science and Technology. ZENG is the President and CEO of Weibo Talents Co., Ltd.
ZENG is recognized as a leader in Chinese Internet and Wireless Internet industry. In 2002, ZENG cofounded China InterActive Corp, and served as Executive Director and COO. China InterActiveCorp owns a number of well-known Internet brands, including RenRen (renren.com), Mop (mop.com), Jingwei (jingwei.com),etc. China InterActive Corp obtained investments up to Four Hundred Fifty Million US Dollars from internationally prestigious private capital and VC such as SoftBank, GA, DCM, TCV, Accel Partners and Lenovo,etc. And the company was listed on the New York Stock Exchange in 2011.
Before that, ZENG was the CTO of “Renren Media”, the global Chinese community. During his tenure, Renren Media successfully financed Thirty-Seven Million US Dollars, and was listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong stock market.
Earlier, ZENG, as the very first staff member, joined Chinaren (chinaren.com), and served as the Director of Technology, and presided over the development of “Alumni Club ”, which was believed to be the representation of the online life of Chinese young people. Chinaren.com was eventually acquired by Sohu.com, a NASDAQ listed company.
