MAX MIAO KRONOS GREATER CHINA GENERAL MANAGER
Max Miao, thecurrent general manager of Kronos Greater China, is in charge of business in mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR and Taiwan Region.
As general manager of Greater China, Max is leading the business development of Kronos Greater China, and is mainly responsible for the business operations and management of strategic planning and key functions(including sales, channels, marketing, service and support, etc.). Max Miao has more than 20-year’s extensive experience in multinational localization, management of multinational’s Asian business, and management of IT and business.
Before joining Kronos, Max has served in some multinational companies as directors, including the Asian Vice President of Compuware, Greater China President of QAD. With his extensive industry experience and in-depth customer service acumen and market sensitivity, he is specialized in developing effective marketing strategies and establishing & training excellent management team. In 2006 and 2007, the team he led had twice been awarded as “the Rapid Reaction Company of Year’s 100 Fast Companies” by “Business Week”. He himself had also been awarded as the Ten Outstanding Managers and Leadersof Chinese management softwareand so on several timesby media and the industry.
Max Miao is keen on research of Eastern and Western management culture. He combines his years ofexperience in management software industry with his knowledge gained in human resource management and development, advocating the integration of Western Digital performance-driven withChinese characteristic humanistic management mode. He himself is a management practitioner ofcombination of Western management methods and Chinese culture. He has published articles on staff motivation, team building and corporate strategy and other aspects in several management magazines.
