Florence Shea Volvo Construction Equipment China HR Vice President
Florence Shea holds the position of Vice President Human Resources in Region China of Volvo Construction Equipment since January 2012. Prior to her appointment in China, she was Vice President Human Resources in Region Europe of Volvo Construction Equipment for seven years. Florence was responsible for over 200 Regional employees as well as 7 Owned Dealer network across 15 European countries. Florence was one of the start-up team for Volvo Owned dealer in Italy and also part of the acquisition team of Ingersoll Rand (Road) in 2007. Florence has successfully integrated employees from acquisitions (IR & ex Bilia dealers) into Region Europe.
Florence is an experienced HR generalist who focuses on change management, workforce planning, recruitment & selection assessment, talent & leadership development, performance management and employee engagement. She holds MSc of Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from UMIST in the UK and Frist Class Honorary BSc of Hospitality Management from Manchester Metropolitan University. Florence is also a certified practitioner of psychometric tests by British Psychological Society and a Member of Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD). Florence has worked and lived various countries United Kingdom, Singapore, Gibraltar, Hong Kong and China. |
