Angel Yu HR Vice President Starbucks Greater China
Angel is currently HR Vice President for Greater China of Starbucks with 17 years’ experience of HR management in multinational corporations and local enterprises, especially good at training, talent development and enhancement of organizational capacity, corporate culture construction and development, the establishment and construction of HR department, performance and reward management and post M&A integration work. She has served as vice president of human resources of USG (China's largest sporting goods retailer), Adidas HR vice president for Greater China, and worked in the Amway (China) for four years as a senior HR manager. Angel graduated from Shanghai Normal University with a bachelor's degree; she also holds an EMBA degree issued by the China Europe International Business School. |

The first store was opened in Seattle’s Pike Place Market in 1971.In fiscal 2011, the revenues reached a record $11.7 billion. Starbucks employed approximately 149,000 people worldwide as of October 2, 2011. In 55 countries, Starbucks ended fiscal 2011 with more than 17,000 stores. Jan. 1999, the first store of Starbucks in China was founded in Beijing. Nowadays, there are more than 500 stores in 41 cities. The number of employees in China has reached to 5,000. |
