Helene Wang SHL China Managing Consultant
Helene Wang has rich experience on commercial project management and consulting for 16 years, out of which she got more than 10 years working with a number of "Fortune 500" companies on planning and implementing initiatives of organizational development, leadership development, performance management, assessment center design & implementation, and talent selection.
Helene has provided consulting services to diverse industries and clients including HSBC, Citi group, IBM, Microsoft, Cisco, Sun, Exxonmobil, Philips, Alstom, Panasonic, Hitachi and Schneider Electric, Volkswagen, FIAT, Pfizer, Merck, Roche, Ipsen and Bristol Myers Squibb, etc.
Before moving to the talent management consulting industry, Helene has been a very successful corporate manager, trainer and training manager. She started her corporate management career as marketing manager for Indonesian Sinar Mar Group, where she participated in feasibility analysis and marketing planning for a couple of Shanghai’s landmark-level real estate projects. Later, Helene joined United Technologies Corporate, undertaking the role as Dean of Carrier University which is under united Technologies, taking charge of training needs analysis, training system build-up and improvement, and successfully developed a comprehensive set of leadership development programs. In addition, Helene developed the internal high potential assessment system which she leveraged the internal assessment center platform and effective online assessment tools. In 2005, Helene joined eBay. As Head of Operation Support being responsible for talent selection and leader development, she successfully helped the world's leading online payment company PayPal enter China by building up an integrated system of talent selection process, talent training & development system, and talent retention. During her tenure, Helene was also responsible for planning and implementing projects such as HR policies set-up, performance management systems, succession planning, training design and setting up an internal trainers’ team.
Helene holds a Bachelor Degree in Law from Shanghai University, and double MBA degree from E.M. Lyon in France and Cranfield School of Management in UK. |
