Wu Qian Freudenberg Group China HR Manager Training & Development Wu,Qian is HR Manager Training & Development for the Freudenberg Group China. Originally fromHunan, she graduated in Germany fromPotsdamUniversity with a master degree in Human Resource Management & Organizational Development. She engaged in research in a“comparison between Chinese, Indian, German leadership”at Infineon Technology AG and participated in the organization of their global talent development program in Munich for two years. After returning to China, she worked at Tongji University. Since 5 years, she works in the Corporate Center of the German, family oriented Freudenberg Group in China. She is engaged to find out how to raise Chinese young talents and managers to international standards in an efficient way. Here Wu, Qian helped to design, establish and implement the corporate training & development program in China and tried to convey the very people oriented family culture through training and development programs to their employees. At the same time, she has a focus on social projects; following the values laid out in guiding principles of Freudenberg, she engages in the involvement of talents and volunteers in sustainable social responsibility projects. She has shown how sincere charity projects can increase the recognition, sense of belonging and employee engagement to the company in long term. 2008 she participated to organize a migrant school support program, 2009 she participated intensively the 5.12 earthquake Freudenberg School rebuilding project, 2010-2012 she was instrumental in planning and organizing the “Big Love beyond Donation” summer camp teaching program, which let Freudenberg get national and company recognition e.g. from an Adidas group firm as “Supplier with most social responsibility”. As a panelist in several HR forums in China and Germany, she has shown her wide engagement and willingness to share her experience. |
